So it has been a long road. Last October I was driving home. It was the night before the Z meet at Silvertwins(OH). I was going home with one of my friends and we were going to clean the Z up for the meet. For some reason I felt the need for speed. So I punched it. 120..130..140..150..160..BOOM! Well to make a long story short I fried number 6 piston and number 2 piston. I got over it pretty quick and began dismantling my engine. I rebuilt it with Wiseco forged pistons (bored .20 over), and had the engine back in early January. During this whole time I made the LONG 4 month wait for the Volks. They finally arrived in late January. The only thing left that I have always really wanted to do was get rid of stock 90 TT wing. I replaced it with the Kaminari from the GB. Then after 2 cracked NA brake light pieces... the 3rd one finally came in one piece. So now the exterior is all done. Just in time for Spring! Well here are the results. Enjoy!
For those of you that got the Kaminari wing from the GB, has anyone else installed theirs? How about fitment? Overall I was pretty pleased. A lot of work went into making it fit though.
